Institute Industry Coach/Facilitator

The Institute for Automotive Business Excellence is seeking experienced business professionals to join our team of dedicated and passionate individuals. The successful candidate will work with our clients in the automotive aftermarket space guiding them through our coaching program and providing strategic consulting services and coaching to help them improve their business operations and profitability. The Institute is extending an invitation to seasoned business consultants to engage with us on a contractual basis. This unique opportunity allows you to leverage your expertise in the automotive aftermarket by guiding businesses through our distinguished coaching program, enhancing their operations, and boosting profitability.



Engagement Details:


Term: Minimum of three years, with continuation on a month-to-month basis, subject to mutual agreement.

Services: Training, coaching, and facilitation services to automotive business owners and their teams, including but not limited to:

  • Facilitating peer group programs

  • Coaching business owners

  • Providing strategic business advisory services



Position Responsibilities:


  • Provide strategic consulting services to clients in the automotive aftermarket industry, leveraging your knowledge and expertise to help clients achieve their goals.

  • Partner with clients to develop and implement business strategies that improve profitability and growth.

  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify new opportunities for clients, and help them stay ahead of industry trends.

  • Work with clients to develop and execute business plans, and help them make informed decisions based on data-driven insights.

  • Review financial documentation with the client to educate and inform them of the businesses overall health and opportunities.

  • Provide coaching to clients, helping them build the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in their businesses.

  • Collaborate with other team members at The Institute to provide comprehensive consulting services to clients, and contribute to the overall growth and success of the team.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in business, operations, marketing, or other related field or having run a successful Automotive Service and Repair business.

  • 3+ years of experience in business consulting or coaching, with a track record of helping clients achieve their goals.

  • 3+ years of team management experience, and achieved success with those teams. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to apply those skills to complex business problems.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.

  • Knowledge of the automotive aftermarket industry, including industry trends, market dynamics, and key players, or the ability to research these items.

  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment, with a collaborative and results-oriented approach to work.



Compensation Structure:


Initial Base Pay: Starting at $1,000 for the first client, with a decrease of $100 for each additional client until servicing 10 or more clients.


Monthly Client Fee: Earn $150 per client for up to three clients, with incremental increases for additional clients, capping at $200 per client from the sixteenth client onwards.


Specialized Services Compensation:


  • Coaching and Facilitation: Up to $200 per client per month.

  • Business Advisory and Instructional Services: Earn 30% of invoiced amounts after expenses for advisory roles, and between $1,000 to $1,500 per day for teaching assignments.

  • Expenses: Reimbursement for pre-approved, business-related expenses in line with company policy.


Additional Provisions:


Expenses: Reasonable pre-approved business-related expenses reimbursed according to the Company's policy.


Ongoing Training: Participation in mandatory retraining and certification updates, with potential voluntary training opportunities.


Engagement Terms: Independent contractor status, responsible for own taxes, with specified non-competition and confidentiality clauses.
